Not Happy Cows

Posted by Philip (South Wales, United Kingdom) on 13 January 2010 in Animal & Insect and Portfolio.

Is it something I said?

The cows were happily munching away on some feed. I pulled out my camera to take a picture and they immediately turned their backs and walked away!! The one on the right is probably thinking something insulting.....

UPDATE 13th Jan: This photo was taken 6th Jan. I walked past again today in the new snow fall we had. The cows were nowhere to be seen. They were obviously taking no chances today!!!

Any tips or constructive criticism are welcome.

Even cows insist on their privacy. Maybe you should have asked for taking a photograph first. :-)

Looking back & thinking how would he like like it if someone wiped a camera & started to snap away while he was having dinner ~

It's a bad hair day. You're being denied that suave cow shot. Great photo!

@Self-Indulgence: I did try. Everytime I focused on a cow it turned its back and walked away from the feed. In the end I focused on the 'herd' making a hasty retreat. Only one turned back as if to say "No you don't"!
