New and Old in Bridgend

A new building just erected next to an old, sadly dericlt building just off Nolton Street in Bridgend, South Wales.

The new building is a pharmacy. Not sure what the old building was but has been empty for many, many years.

Norlton Church can be seen 'lurking' in the background.

Any tips or constructive criticism are welcome.

And I think the old is so much nicer than the new. They knew how to build back in the day

Well, the new building could be worse (just!) but it does make me wonder what happened to Planning Control. The neglect of that old manse (perhaps) is enough to make me weep.
