After many years of being idle, the once very busy Swansea Dry Dock gates will open tommorrow to dock the cruise ship ASTORIA which has made the journey up from Gibraltar. She is currently at anchor off the Mumbles.
The ship will be operated by Saga Cruises and after the re-fit she will be sailing as the Saga Pearl ll.
The Astoria was built in Germany 1981 and is likely to cost £15m to refit.
Any tips or constructive criticism are welcome.
