Butterfly in close-up

Out walking last week and had my Nikon 105mm lens with me. Busy taking pics of coastline but could not resist this butterfly as well. This fine weather has brought loads of them out - a last 'fling' before autumn.

@Loner: Thanks. It was just done hand-held while out walking. Amazing how things turn out sometimes.

Very lovely - I've seen the last one of these peacock butterflies weeks ago, your climate is so much warmer than ours!
