Penarth Pier

Posted by
Philip (South Wales, United Kingdom) on 14 November 2009 in Lifestyle & Culture and Portfolio.

This is the front of Penarth Pier. It's a pier that lends itself to being photographed. The pier itself is well looked after by the council. The only shame is that the main front building (shown here) is not used. Many suggestions have been made including a cinema but none have got off the ground to date.

I have previously posted shots of this Pier:

Half Way.

Penarth Pier is in South Wales, near Cardiff.

@Curly: Thanks. Had to use clone stamp as few times - too many telephone wires and people!

Would make for a good café, too...

@MadScientist: Absolutely, the inside is one huge space that's why cinema or ballroom etc would be perfect. However, a cafe with chandeliers would be something else........
