cyclamen

Posted by
Philip (South Wales, United Kingdom) on 8 May 2010 in Plant & Nature.

Some wild cyclamen grow at the front of my garden. They only show themselves for a few days in April. I wanted to photograph them last year but never got round to it. This year I managed it. They have now gone for another year and I have this photo to remind me of them and to hope that I will be around to see them next year!

A different looking flower on these. Nicely photographed.

Looks a bit like an insect! So there are flowers in your garden! Not here, after the daffodils nothing further has come yet, unless it has been planted out deliberately. Just a lousy cold spring so far!

@MadScientist: Yes, dafs are looking very sad now. Camellia's have finished and now into Wyesteria.
