Posted by
Philip (South Wales, United Kingdom) on 3 August 2010 in Landscape & Rural.

View to the West.

Llantwit Major beach is on the Glamorgan Heritage Coast in South Wales. It is mostly limestone with the odd patch of sand.

With so many angles seen, this place never gets tiring. It's just too beautiful. I love the compo here and the amazing textures. Almost looks like an ancient ruin.

I really love these tones! I see you have plenty of sunshine this summer. :-)

@MadScientist: ha! You must be joking. June was great. Rubbish ever since although not huge amount of rain. Even on this day it clouded over and when we were driving home it started raining!!!

Good evening, Philip,
it is a very interesting, impressive view of the landscape and the fantastic sky. The viewing angle is more than excellent, and even the color and detail reproduction. It gives people the feeling of being drawn into the picture. The clouds splendor invigorates the overall view. For that I give you 10 stars ********** The previous photos I looked at it. Both are fantastic. Have a nice evening and all the best. Thanks for your nice comment. Sincerely Christel

Lovely shot. I suppose those rocks get sloshed around by the surf and are getting smoother and rounder over time.
